As of late, there has been lots of research into a market phenomenon known as Cause Marketing — or in layman’s terms — when for-profit and social causes work together in a symbiotic relationship. You may have also heard of it as a “double bottom line”; seeing companies like Whole Foods, Mazda, Uber, Campari and Facebook taking the lead, even in times of recession.
